(WKOW) — Many traveling hunters caught a bite to eat as they headed north by stopping at the Tomahawk Venison Feed.
They’ve been doing this for 54 years.
One man who was there has made the trek from Florida every year since the feed started back in 1965.
“I’m with my family. It’s all boys and we just have a good time. The kids love it. They still do it so I’m happy,” said Dan Evans from Estero, Florida.
Evans says he’ll continue to come back.
The feed brought in more than 1,000 people.
