MINNEAPOLIS (WKOW) — With a share of the Big Ten West Division title and a berth in the 2019 Big Ten Football Championship Game at stake, 13th-ranked Wisconsin heads to Minneapolis Saturday to battle No. 9 Minnesota for Paul Bunyan’s Axe.
Tune in to WKOW-TV at 10:30 a.m. Saturday for a pregame special, then stay with ABC for the 2:30 p.m. kickoff.
The Badgers (9-2, 6-2 Big Ten) and Gophers (10-1, 7-1) are set to meet for the 129th time in the FBS’ most-played rivalry, which stands even at 60-60-8 after Minnesota snapped Wisconsin’s 14-game win streak in the series last season.
This year’s clash will be just the 6th meeting of ranked teams in series history, with Wisconsin holding a 5-0 record in games in which both the Badgers and Gophers hold Top 25 rankings. Read more, Page 10.
