MADISON (WKOW) – After multiple storms slammed the region Thanksgiving week, conditions have quieted down to begin December.
Not much in southern Wisconsin, but our northernmost row of counties look like a winter wonderland!
A broad area of high pressure moves in from the west causing a clearer, drier trend.
Today was mostly sunny with temps near average in the low to mid 30s. Our average high this time of year is 35°, average low 21°.
Overnight, clouds move in ahead of a weak disturbance.
Tuesday will be cloudier, with some sun returning in the afternoon. Either way, temps will be warmer in the upper 30s.
Highs stay in the upper 30s and low 40s Wednesday and Thursday.
A dry cold front moves through Thursday night dropping temps a bit Friday back to the low and mid 30s.
