PACIFIC (WKOW) -- Columbia County deputies arrested Matthew Evans, 29, Saturday night after he drunkenly fired a gun in his home.
According to a press release, his live-in girlfriend called 911 around 5:10 p.m. saying she had locked herself in a bedroom in their Dunning Road home. She said Evans was intoxicated and had shot off a gun.
When deputies got there, they saw Evans walking around the home, holding a gun.
Deputies said not long after that Evans left the home without the gun and cooperated with them.
He is facing charges of disorderly conduct, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and recklessly endangering safety.
No one was hurt.
