MADISON (WKOW) - We'll start a warming trend tomorrow, but this warming will help generate a mix of drizzle and light snow.

An Arctic-based area of high pressure continues to dominate the Upper Midwest keeping us cold and overall quiet

Overnight, clouds move in a clipper system dives in from the Northern Plains.

A light snow mix with drizzle will move in tomorrow, mainly impacting the afternoon hours, especially farther north. 0-1" of new accumulations are possible.

It'll also be breezy with winds out of the SW gusting up to 30 mph. So, despite temps warming to the mid to upper 30s, it'll feel more like the 20s.

Friday looks similarly mild in the upper 30s with easing winds.
