For the 7th straight season, the Badgers have advanced to NCAA Regional Tournament play. First up, they’ll host 13th-ranked Texas A&M as they put a 12-match home win-streak on the line in the Sweet 16.

"We're just so excited to still be playing," said Wisconsin volleyball coach Kelly Sheffield. "You've got great opportunities in front of you. And you live for these kinds of matches. You train all year long to be able to do this kind of stuff. And to be able to do it here at home, it's cool."

This is the fourth time the program history that Wisconsin has hosted a regional tournament. The other times - 2016, 2000 and 1997 - the team won its Sweet 16 matches.

"Being able to be a top four seed and hosting at home has helped us not only be comfortable where we are but, like, we have a great fan base," said junior middle block Dana Rettke. "People love to watch volleyball at the Field House. So it's our home court. We want to defend that. And it's just exciting. We put a lot of hard work in in this building. So it's going to be awesome to see that pay off."

The Badgers and Aggies tip off at 1pm on Friday. If they win, they’ll head to the Regional final where they would play the winner between 5th-ranked Nebraska and 12th-ranked Hawaii on Saturday. The winner of the regional final game would head to the NCAA Volleyball Final Four in Pittsburgh.
