MADISON (WKOW) -- A man arrested and accused by Madison police of being a car theft "kingpin" in October faces additional charges.
Prosecutors accused Cleaster L. Moon, 24, Madison, of being party to the crimes of burglary and theft. In total, authorities alleged Moon committed a mix of eight new felonies and misdemeanors, according to online court records.
The Dane County Jail inmate database seemed to indicate Moon allegedly committed at least two of the offenses in Waunakee.
Moon made his initial appearance on all of the new charges Monday.
Court Commissioner Jason Hanson set Moon's bond at a total of $10,000.
Should he post, Moon will then be subjected to alcohol monitoring and random drug tests. He will not be able to leave Dane County or drive any motor vehicle without the owner's written consent.
Moon's preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 14.
