(WKOW) -- On Monday another big event will rival President Trump's visit to Milwaukee. The Bucks play the New York Knicks at Fiserv Forum, just a half a mile away from the president's rally.

Crews were out Monday near Fiserv Forum restricting some areas around parking meters. Officials said guests should expect road closures and severe congestion. Parking garages that would typically be availabe for Bucks fans, may be full.

In order to accommodate the the influx of people, Fiserv Forum will open its doors 30 minutes earlier than usual, at 5 p.m.

"Plan accordingly. Get here a little early, but you'll be fine," Milwaukee Police Chief Alfonso Morales said.

"Our department will be able to handle this. We do have some extra deployments," Morales said.

The Milwaukee Police are also working with the U.S. Secret Service and other agencies on a security plan.
