MADISON (WKOW) -- A new gala is about to heat things up in Madison.

The Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation is set to host the 1st annual Burn Ball on February 1st.

On Monday, Michael Wos, Executive Director of the Fire Fighters Foundation, and Dr. Angela Gibson from the UW Burn Center joined the Wake Up Wisconsin team to talk about the inaugural gala.

Wos says guests will be treated to a celebration with lots of fun, great food, and a silent auction. He says proceeds from the gala will support the UW Burn Center as well as care to those who have suffered life-altering burn injuries, including their annual Summer Camp for Burn-Injured Youth.

WKOW's Dani Maxwell will serve as master of ceremonies for the evening.

Tickets are still available at 75 dollars apiece. To learn more about the Burn Ball, click here.
