MADISON (WKOW) -- Each year in early January, Grace Episcopal Church families tie or drape scarves, mittens and hats onto the trees and bushes around the church and along the Capitol Square in Madison.
There is a tag attached to each that said, “I’m not lost. Please feel free to take me with you if you are cold. From Grace Episcopal Church...”
This program encourages young ones to provide for others during the bitter cold months, according to an Instagram post from Visit Downtown Madison.
The church is located at the West Washington Avenue intersection of the square.
