Dunn County (WQOW) - A semi hauling paper caught fire on Interstate 94 Friday morning diverting traffic for hours.
According to the State Patrol, it happened just after 10 a.m. on Interstate 94 by exit 28 near Knapp.
Lieutenant Les Mlsna said the driver was able to get out before the fire got out of control.
He said it was hauling shredded paper which caused the fire to spread quickly.
Eastbound traffic is being rerouted as of 11:47 a.m. A dumpster will be brought out to haul away the burnt paper.
There is still no word on what caused the semi to catch fire.
