MADISON (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Weather Advisory to Columbia, Dodge, Dane, and Green counties. An advisory in these counties along with Jefferson, Rock, Walworth, Racine, Waukesha, and Kenosha through 9 a.m.

Snow total accumulations are projected to be from 2 to 5 inches in counties listed in the advisory. Slippery road conditions are possible for those traveling through this morning.


Light snow will end in the morning. Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-30s.

SUNDAY
We finally quiet down with mostly cloudy to partly sunny skies and highs in the mid-30s.

NEXT WEEK
The pattern is much quieter with little to no snow or rain expected. Temperatures will also be mild in the 30s each day. Let the melt begin.
