MADISON (WKOW) - A trend this week besides cloud cover, is the above average high temperatures.
Madison high temperatures remain in the high to low 30's through Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, high temperatures will raise to the mid-to-upper 30's.
It's a trend not only seen at home. Most of the midwest and central plains are feeling the above average temperatures too.
The temperatures so far this winter in Madison are historic. This winter is currently the 8th warmest winter yet, with the average temperature at 27.9 degrees. The top warmest winter was in 1877-1878 with an average temperature of 31.9 degrees.
The skies will be cloudy or mostly cloudy for the next few days. There's a chance for flurries Wednesday afternoon and light snow showers are possible Friday.
