After a week that saw one starter leave the team and another suspended for the matchup, Wisconsin men's basketball pulled together to take down No. 14 Michigan State, 64-63, on Saturday afternoon at the Kohl Center.

The majority of the Badgers production was from their new starting lineup. Nate Reuvers led with 15 points, while D'Mitrik Trice had 14 and Aleem Ford contributed 13. Brevin Pritzl made the start in place of Brad Davison, who was suspended for the game against the Spartans, and chipped in 10 points. Earlier this week, starting guard Kobe King announced his departure from the team.

Wisconsin got the victory on just over 40% shooting for the game, 32% from 3-point range. The Spartans almost came back to defeat the Badgers, who at one point had a 19 point lead, but Wisconsin held on to improve to 13-9 this season, 6-5 in conference play.
