A weekend warm-up on the way!

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MADISON (WKOW) - A weak area of low pressure moving through the Upper Midwest is causing patchy freezing drizzle in southern Wisconsin early this morning

This will cause slick spots through early Saturday morning, and also some low lingering clouds.
The weekend will be quiet and mild with temps in the mid-30s. This will be the 11th and final day with cloudy skies. However, it's possible you could see some small breaks of sun today, but more clouds than sun today

SUNDAY
High pressure moves in from the Central Plains causing partly to mostly sunny conditions. A slight breeze out of the SW will cause it to be very mild with highs in the mid to upper 40s!

MONDAY
Another day with a good amount of sunshine, however, clouds thicken up through the afternoon. Temps stay mild in the mid to upper 30s.

TUESDAY
We have a slight chance for light snow, but computer models are beginning to slow this system down, so it may not arrive til midweek.

WEDNESDAY
A higher chance for some light snow showers. Stay tuned as we update the forecast as this system is still six days out!
