MARQUETTE (WKOW) -- Marquette University's president shared his grief following the death of the school's business dean.

Joe Daniels was hit and killed Tuesday night by a suspected drunken driver.

University president Mike Lovell says the campus is in shock.

He says Daniels was an incredible man.

"He was a fantastic teacher and scholar and mentor to students. But, most of all, he was an even better person. I think that's what people will remember him by. He had a great faith. He was a great husband and father."

According to a search warrant obtained by WISN, the driver could face a charge of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.
