BELOIT (WREX) -- Beloit College is stepping up to the plate to make two Janesville boys feel like family.

The baseball team held a ceremonial signing for 12-year-old Logan and 16-year-old Jacob Slack.

The brothers battle mitochondrial disease.

They were connected with Beloit College through Team IMPACT.

Their mother, Andrea, tells WREX it was a special day for them. "The coach is really awesome with them too. They like to make them feel like they're part of the team, part of the family."

The boys will now be attending games, practices and team dinners.
