PHILADELPHIA (WKOW) -- Police chased a stolen ambulance through the streets of Philadelphia Friday night before eventually arresting the driver.
Police tell WPVI in Philadelphia it all started around 8 p.m. after a reported shooting. Officers fired at the suspect, but it's unclear if he was hit.
After that, police say the suspect jumped into an ambulance and took off.
Video showed the ambulance weaving through traffic, often at slow speeds. At one point, the ambulance stopped and police nearly pulled the driver from the vehicle, but they were unable to and the man was able to drive off.
Eventually, the ambulance lost several tires and could not go any further.
Police arrested the driver.
