MADISON (WKOW) - All high temps in the forecast are at or above the 40° mark.
PLENTY OF WARMTH
So far this year, we've had 19 days at or above 40°. On average, we only hit the 40° mark 12 times through early March.
This time last year we only had 7 days above 40°!
This shows how consistently warmer than average we've been to start the year, and we have more warm temps in the forecast.
Our weather system that brought a soggy setup Monday is out of here.
High pressure settling across Wisconsin will allow lots of sunshine with temps in the mid to upper 40s.
A light rain and snow mix develops around midnight and later. Highest chance for a few slick spots will be north of Madison with slightly colder temps.
That mix exits our area late Wednesday morning, so expect a slower than normal drive to work and school.
In the afternoon, we remain mostly cloudy with mild conditions around 50°.
Another rain-maker moves in for the second half of Thursday providing scattered showers with temps well above average in the mid 50s.
Friday will be mostly to partly sunny and breezy with temps in the mid 40s.
Low to mid 40s this weekend.
