(WKOW) -- As the number of COVID-19 cases rises in Wisconsin, Sauk County is putting out a call for help.

On Tuesday, Jodie Molitor with Sauk County Public Health Department joined the Wake Up Wisconsin team via video call to discuss their need for medical volunteers.

Molitor says they're looking for qualified health, mental health, and related professionals to supplement our health care capacity temporarily to help with the possible surge of coronavirus patients.

For those who are interested in helping, Molitor is directing volunteers to fill out a survey. She also recommends registering with the Wisconsin Emergency Volunteer Registry.

Additional questions can be directed to Sauk County Emergency Management at (608) 355-3200.
