MIDDLETON WKOW) -- Facing the reality of cancer treatment is hard enough. The coronavirus is making it harder for patients to get the support they need to get through it.
Gilda's Club Madison in Middleton is now offering virtual programs to make sure people don't have to face cancer alone.
Most hospitals where patients go for treatment aren't allowing guests, so that can leave patients feeling lonely. That's where Gilda's Club comes in.
"Really switch all of our programs pretty seamlessly with a few bumps along the way to a zoom platform which is HIPAA compliant and safe for participants to doing everything online on the phone," said Kirsten Norslein, Program Director at Gilda's Club.
