Rain and snow showers are possible Thursday, due to the drop in thermal profiles. Highest chances for snow showers are during the afternoon.
Gusty northwest winds are also possible Thursday. Which, is another reason behind the lower than normal temperatures. The northwest flow will stick around into Friday.
A high pressure system will make its way across the region Friday, bringing dry and quiet weather. The chilly temperatures will stick around.
Precipitation will return Saturday. Although, rain showers instead of snow showers or a mix that will be seen on Thursday.
Highs Thursday will be in the mid 40s, lows in the upper 20s.
Highs Friday will be in the upper 40s, lows in the mid 30s.
