MADISON (WKOW) - It's been a much colder day with strong northwest winds and spotty light rain and snow showers. By tomorrow it'll be quiet with sunshine, lighter winds, and cool temperatures.

TONIGHT
Skies clear and temps drop to the upper 20s and low 30s.

FRIDAY
High pressure builds in from the northwest calming the winds a bit, only at 5-15 mph out of the NW.

Temps stay below average in the upper 40s, but with plenty of sunshine, it should be a fairly nice day.

SATURDAY
Another weather system develops, causing a few showers to develop through the afternoon and evening with temps in the low 50s.

SUNDAY
Easter will be cloudy and wet with widespread rain. If you celebrate the holiday, plan on doing the egg hunt inside this year.

MONDAY
Snow is possible and even some accumulating snow Monday morning before clearing in the afternoon.

High chance of cooler than average temps next two weeks per CPC
