Vera Mueller is a 104-year-old woman who survived the COVID-19 virus.

Mueller experienced COVID-19 symptoms and tested positive two days after her 104th birthday on March 23. She was isolated until recovery and then returned to her own room at Sauer Health Care on April 6.

"We are very happy that she made it to another Easter," Vera's son Robert Mueller said. "We take one day at a time, day-by-day and hour-by-hour because don't know how long she'll be with us yet. She's very weak from this whole episode so we're just thankful every time we can go to the window and talk or wave to her."

Robert said that she is one of the oldest people in the United States to survive the virus.
