MADISON (WKOW) - Tuesday is the last full day of dry weather this week.
Precipitation chances begin early Wednesday morning with a passing system bringing chances for a period of light snow or wintry mix. Any snow or rain showers should dissipate by mid-morning.
Widespread rain and chances of thunderstorms will return Wednesday afternoon and evening.
North winds and cooler temperatures expected Thursday. There's also potential for a few passing showers in the morning and afternoon.
Rain chances return Friday morning, starting out scattered switching to widespread rain. It will be wet on and off through Saturday evening. Dry pockets of weather could pull-through.
Sunday will give southern Wisconsin a break from precipitation. Mostly sunny skies expected, with high temperatures in the mid-50s.
