MADISON (WKOW) -- Former Badgers center Tyler Biadasz is headed to Dallas.
The Dallas Cowboys selected Biadasz with the final pick in the fourth round of the NFL Draft, #146 overall.
The Amherst, Wisconsin native was the first Badger center in history to win the Rimington Trophy, which is awarded to the best center in college football.
Biadasz could fill an immediate need for the Cowboys. Former Cowboys center and former Badger Travis Frederick retired from the NFL in March. Frederick was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre syndrome and was sidelined for all of 2018. He returned in 2019 but acknowledged he wasn't the same player as he had been before his diagnosis.
Biadasz is the third former Badger to be picked in this year's draft. Running back Jonathan Taylor was selected by the Indianapolis Colts and linebacker Zack Baun was picked by the New Orleans Saints.
