MADISON (WKOW) - Say goodbye to Sunday's dry, sunny weather. Clouds and showers arrive Monday.
There's a wet weather trend for the beginning of the week.
Clouds will move in overnight Sunday into Monday morning before showers arrive. The first system will move into southern Wisconsin Monday afternoon, bringing a quick yet decent amount of moisture to the region. Showers move out of the area Monday evening.
Another low pressure system will arrive from the west, bringing scattered showers Tuesday late-afternoon or evening.
There's also a chance for a few thunderstorms late Tuesday, especially if the warm sector extends into the area. A few rumbles of thunder or a strong storm can't be ruled out for Tuesday.
Rain chances will remain steady Tuesday night into Wednesday. Showers continue Wednesday, and gradually diminish into the night.
Dry weather returns Thursday, as a high pressure system settles in close by.
High temperatures Monday through Thursday will likely be in the mid 50s to low 60s. A chance for 70s by the end of the week.
