(WKOW) -- Since many stay at home orders are lifted across the country some are opting to keep Memorial Day weekend travel plans.

If you're flying, experts have this advice to keep you from getting or spreading coronavirus.

There will likely be markers on the ground at the airport. Stand on those to keep physical social distancing.

You're also encouraged to a mask and touch as few things as possible.

"One thing to keep in mind: Try and count how many surfaces you touch throughout the whole process," said Sanjay Gupta, CNN's chief medical correspondent.

One study found that the biggest hot spot for germs in the entire airport is the bin you put your items in at security.

You're encouraged to pack hand sanitizer and wash your hands when possible.
