WATERLOO (WKOW) -- Friday was the last day of school for students in Waterloo, so the city's fire and rescue put on a parade.

The parade started at the fire station and then the emergency vehicles weaved through neighborhoods.

Families set up chairs along the route to watch, as students were congratulated for all their accomplishments.

Meanwhile in Brodhead, seniors were part of the parade.

They all lined up at the high school and then paraded through town, with many sitting in beds of pickup trucks or popping out of sunroofs.

The cars were adorned with messages of congratulations and the parade got its own police escort as well.
