BEAVER DAM (WKOW) -- Authorities arrested three people in connection to a theft and police chase Friday night that began in Beaver Dam and ended in Juneau.

An 18-year-old Oshkosh man and a 17-year-old Fond du Lac girl were booked into the Dodge County Jail, according to a Facebook post from the Beaver Dam Police Department. Authorities also took a 16-year-old into custody.

Dispatchers sent police to the 1500 block of North Spring Street at 10:13 p.m. for a report of a gas drive-off and retail theft.

Officers found the vehicle, which Grand Chute police listed as stolen, still in Beaver Dam. The driver led authorities on a chase through the town of Oak Grove and into the city of Juneau.

Authorities tried at least three times to use road spikes, but the driver managed to maneuver around them.

In Juneau, police say the vehicle drove off the road, hit two parked vehicles and a front porch. The three people inside the car allegedly got out and ran.

Officers said a K9, named Yeti, caught the 18-year-old trying to climb a fence. Authorities booked him for eluding an officer, operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent, resisting, and defrauding a gas station.

Deputies found the 17-year-old and arrested her for retail theft and resisting an officer.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, Juneau Police Department, Wisconsin State Patrol and Juneau EMS assisted Beaver Dam police.
