MADISON (WKOW) - A slow-moving system will impact us with occasional shower and storm chances this holiday weekend.
Showers and t-showers will be around throughout the day with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70s. A few storms could reach severe levels in the afternoon and early evening. Large hail, damaging winds, and even an isolated tornado are all possible.
A little drier with isolated shower and storm chances, mainly during the evening and overnight hours, should cause temps to jump to the low 80s. If that pans out, it'll be the warmest day of the year so far.
Expect a few more showers and storms with a warm trend in the upper 70s.
We'll pick up 3/4" to an inch of rain with the highest totals farther west.
