MADISON (WKOW) - Scattered showers and storm chances continue overnight before becoming more widespread on Thursday.
Shower and storm chances will continue for a large portion of southern Wisconsin on Thursday and into the first half of Thursday night.
A good amount of the day Thursday has the potential to be wet, thus adding a heavy rain threat. Anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain is possible.
There is currently a "slight" level 2 risk for flooding on Thursday. As a reminder, it is advised not to drive or walk through any standing water as you won't know how deep it is.
Showers and storm chances end Thursday night.
Cooler, drier and less humid weather is expected Friday and the weekend.
