Boys and Girls Club organizes cleanup after Madison protests

MADISON (WKOW) -- While rocks, bottles and tear gas canisters flew on State Street, the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County began organizing a community clean up to clear the damage wrought by clashes between police and protestors in downtown Madison Saturday.
The cleanup, according to a Facebook event for the effort, will begin Sunday at 7 a.m.
Those looking to help should congregate at Library Mall. Organizers told participants to bring gloves, garbage bags, a broom and face mask.
As of this writing, over 250 people indicated they would attend.
