MADISON (WKOW) - A few scattered storms arrive tonight. A storm or two could be severe, mainly west.
It's been a pleasant and warm day with mostly sunny skies with highs in the mid 80s.
An isolated storm is possible this evening, mainly in southwestern Wisconsin, but there is a higher chance for storms after midnight.
We are under a level 1 "marginal" risk for severe weather tonight. There is a level 2 "slight" risk along the Mississippi River Valley. The main threat will be high winds.
A few more storms are expected, though they shouldn't be strong or severe. They'll mainly impact our region in the morning as the cold front passes by.
Because of the front, temps won't be as warm, getting to the low 80s in the afternoon.
We feel the effects of the cold front with high pressure building in from Canada for the weekend.
This causes milder conditions in the mid to upper 70s with low humidity.
Mostly to partly sunny skies Sunday with comfortable temps in the mid 70s.
