KAUKAUNA (WKOW) -- The father of two Kaukauna children found dead in their home in February has been arrested in connection with the killings.

Matthew Beyer, the biological father of William and Danielle Beyer, was arrested and booked into the Outagamie County Jail for their deaths, according to a news release Friday from the Kaukauna Police Department.

Police are recommending two charges of two counts of first-degree intentional homicide to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office.

Outagamie County dispatch received a 911 call about 7:10 a.m. Feb. 17 from a residence in the 1200 block of Crooks Avenue.

Police identified the victims as William Beyer, 5, and Danielle Beyer, 3.

When Kaukauna officers and Kaukauna Fire arrived they entered the residence and found two children dead with what police described in a news release as intentionally inflicted injuries.
