Firefighters responded to garage fire in Village of Windsor

UPDATE (WKOW) -- Deforest Windsor Fire & EMS were called to a garage fire that was spreading to the house Saturday morning.

According to the Deforest Windsor fire department, all occupants were able to get out safely and firefighters were able to limit the damage done to the home.

The Deforest Windsor fire department said that the preliminary reports estimate the property loss at $100,000.

The American Red Cross is assisting the family with housing, food, and clothing.

UPDATE: The Dane County Sheriff's Office confirms everyone got out safely.

UPDATE: 27's Lance Veeser is on scene, and says early indications are that everyone got out of the home safely.

VILLAGE OF WINDSOR (WKOW) -- Emergency crews are responding to a house fire in the 6700 block of Depot Street.

According to Dane County Communications, the fire is "fully involved."

27 News has a crew on the way, and will update this story with more information.
