(WKOW) -- The coronavirus pandemic has forced many people to stay home, allowing for more time to spend with pets.

Whether it's going for a walk or playing fetch, a lot of dogs are more active than they've ever been and that's leading to problems.

Veterinarians say they're seeing more ligament tears, sprains and other injuries as pet owners take their furry friends on adventures.

Thursday, June 11 on 27 News at 10, Wake Up Wisconsin's Rebecca Ribley explains why veterinarians are so busy right now and what pet owners should do to keep their animals healthy.
