MADISON (WKOW) - Umbrellas are needed this week with multiple wet days in the forecast.

SET UP
An area of low pressure is passing through causing waves of showers and thunderstorms to move through the region.


TONIGHT
Showers and storms taper off for most through the evening, but farther north and northeast, rain will end a little later closer to midnight.

Otherwise, it'll be cooler by pre-dawn Tuesday in the upper 50s.

TUESDAY
Most of the day will be dry, but there could be a couple isolated showers or a rumble of thunder in the afternoon and evening.

Otherwise, there will be a sun-cloud mix with highs back in the mid 70s.

WEDNESDAY
Partly sunny with a few showers and storms possible in the afternoon and evening.

THURSDAY
The one day in the forecast with no rain threat with mostly sunny skies and warmer temps in the low 80s.

FRIDAY
Another system develops causing showers and storms to possibly develop, mainly in the afternoon and evening.

Temps stay warm in the low to mid 80s.

More showers and storms Friday night.

WEEKEND
More summery showers and storms are expected with warm temps in the low to mid 80s.
