MADISON (WKOW) -- As places reopen in southern Wisconsin, doctors said there are three things you should keep in mind to help stop the spread of coronavirus and keep yourself safe.

Dr. Nasia Safdar recommended the following:

  • Maintain physical distancing
  • Wear a face covering
  • Adhere to respiratory ettiquette

"Things like if you have mild symptoms that are respiratory in nature, then you shouldn't be out in public engaging in activities. You should make sure that you have enough supplies that you can sneeze into a Kleenex or into your elbow if you don't have a Kleenex. That you have adequate hand hygiene," said Dr. Safdar.

You can send any questions you have about reopening or coronavirus in general to gettinganswers@wkow.com.
