Thousands of bottles of hand sanitizer donated to Salvation Army

MADISON (WKOW) -- The Salvation Army of Dane County got a big donation today to restock its hand sanitizer supply.

Wisconsin Distributors dropped off a pallet this morning, which amounts to more than 2,300 bottles.

The president of the company says they're happy to have a role in the fight against coronavirus.

The Salvation Army says the timing of the donation couldn't be better. It got word this morning that the families its housing in hotels during the pandemic needed more hand sanitizer.
