Residents, animals safe after structure fire in Town of Albion

Town of Albion (WKOW) -- Fire crews and law enforcement officials responded to a structure fire just before 2 a.m. Saturday on 76 Menominee Drive in the Town of Albion.

When they got there, deputies say the discovered the residence was fully engulfed with flames. Everyone had gotten out safely before crews arrived.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation but it doesn't appear to be suspicious. The owner says there is probably $290,000 in damage to the structure and vehicles.

Fire departments from Cottage Grove, Cambridge, Deerfield, Edgerton, McFarland, Stoughton, and Deer-Grove EMS responded.
