Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

MADISON (WKOW) - Temperatures continue to climb heading towards Independence Day.

JUNE RECAP
Temps were hotter than average and rain was slightly above average, despite several dry streaks.

TONIGHT
Temps dip to the mid 60s with partly cloudy skies.

THURSDAY
Partly sunny and even hotter in the upper 80s, though humidity levels will drop a bit as high pressure builds over the Great Lakes causing a light, stabilizing wind off Lake Michigan.

This should eliminate any pop-up storm potential.

FRIDAY
Even hotter with mostly to partly sunny skies and highs around 90°.

Humidity returns along with a stray, pop-up storm chance.

4TH OF JULY
Mostly sunny, hot and humid with temps in the low 90s.

SUNDAY
Mostly sunny, hot and humid again in the low 90s.

MONDAY
Heat continues with highs around 90° and a few pop-up storms possible.

TUESDAY
Highs around 90° again with a few pop-up storms possible.
