MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway responded to an effort to recall her as mayor.
An organization called "Recall Satya 2020" started the movement. Group members said Madison is more dangerous under Rhodes-Conway's administration during the shutdowns and riots. The organizers said that she won't listen to people who live in Madison.
The mayor said the group has not reached out to her about its grievances, and she will not be reaching out to them.
"I'm focused on doing my job, doing the job that people elected me to do and watching out for the safety of everybody in the city of Madison," Mayor Rhodes-Conway told 27 News.
The group plans to start circulating petitions this month.
