MADISON (WKOW)-- Dallas Stars Player and Former Badger Joe Pavelski is returning to Dallas tomorrow. He spent his summer in Madison opening a new restaurant called LeanFeast on University Ave.

The NHL has still not decided on two hub cities to host the NHL playoffs. But players are currently allowed to participate in voluntary small group sessions at team facilities. A mandatory training camp is scheduled to begin on July 10th.

"There will be a sense of urgency to this camp," Pavelski said. "If it's 2 and a half weeks, three weeks, however long it is, these exhibition games, you have to treat them as real and that sense of urgency because when it does happen, you don't want to be reaching back for it and it's not there or wish you would've went a little bit harder."

On Wednesday, Pavelski built and served meals to customers from 10 am- 12 pm. Customers came in and out wishing the local star good luck on the season.
