STURGEON BAY (WKOW) -- This 4th of July weekend, travelers to one city in Door County will be able to walk down sidewalks lined with cherries.
Sturgeon Bay's annual Cherries Jubilee Street Art Project is happening right now.
25 artists were chosen to design big plastic cherries that are on display around the city.
One woman says it's her third year designing a piece for the project.
"Every year I get selected, and every year I'm like a little kid jumping up and down going, 'They picked mine!'" Renate Gregory told WBAY-TV.
The art project runs through the summer, with a live auction set for September 19.
It raises money for the community's public art initiative fund.
