Madison police investigate multiple shots fired calls overnight

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police are investigating multiple shots fired incidents in Madison early Tuesday morning.

Just after 2:00 a.m. police got a call about gunshots heard on Putnam Road.

Officers found multiple shell casings but didn't find any damage to nearby buildings. There were also no reported injuries.

Then, police say officers were called to the 5300 block of Milwaukee Street shorty after 2:30 a.m. for reports of multiple shots fired.

When officers arrived they found a shell casing on Milwaukee Street near Andrew Way.

Police say there were no reports of any injuries or any property damage.
