MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison's near east side is hosting a community art exhibit this weekend.
The Marquette Neighborhood Association put on a sculpture contest on Saturday. Nearly 20 works of art are on display outside homes in the neighborhood.
Organizers say it was a great way to have fun outside and stay safe.
"The Marquette Neighborhood is known for our festivals in the summer, and obviously those aren't happening. So the neighborhood association got together and we tried to think of something that would be celebratory, participatory for the neighborhood, but that you could experience from a distance," said organizer Jen Plant.
Prizes will go to the most creative, most topical, outstanding artistry and crowd favorite.
