Madison police respond to State Street shots-fired call

MADISON (WKOW) -- Police responded to a call for shots fired at Peace Park in downtown Madison Monday morning.

Officers responded to 452 State Street at 5:24 a.m. for a report of gunfire, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.

Police said surveillance video shows a 2015 Porsche Macan, reported stolen from Fitchburg, driving down State Street before stopping near Peace Park.

A passenger gets out of the car with something in his hand. The passenger then gets back into the car and everyone in the park ducks while the Porche leaves.

Police did not find shell casings or damage.
