MT. HOREB (WKOW) -- You can check out museum art in Mt. Horeb without going inside.

The Driftless Historium now has a walk-up gallery at its store.

"We've had a really good experience of people being happy to be able to go outside, not risk themselves and have something to do," said Destinee Udelhoven, Mt. Horeb Area Historical Society director.

The museum debuted its Student Spotlight show on Saturday, which features art from Mt. Horeb high school students.

Arianna Tweedy says creating her artwork gave her a good way to focus during the pandemic.

"It was something that I could, over these last few months, really put my energy into. It was like, it had a really nice end goal to work towards," she said.

The installation is called Transformation and Reflection. It will be on display through August 23.
