Drier air mass and cooler temperatures ahead

MADISON (WKOW) - Wednesday marks the warmest day in the current 7-day forecast, although very close to the average high for this time of year.

The CPC shows southern Wisconsin temperatures will trend cooler than average for the next week. Average temperature for end of July is 81 degrees. The region will also be drier than average.

The next few days will be dry with times of sunshine. Highs in the low 80s are expected through the weekend. Very mild.

Dew points will also range in the mid 50s to low 60s.

Saturday afternoon, evening looks to be the next chance for showers and storms. Although, there is higher chance on the second half of Sunday.
